Analysing Ribs lyrics

Here are the lyrics of the song Ribs by Lorde:

In general the lyrics that struck to me the most are:

"It feels so scary getting old"

"You're the only friend I need"

"Laugh until our ribs get tired"

Although we won't be lip syncing the song, I think its very important we transmit these three lines throughout the video. Because we can only say so little through us moving around and doing activities, for the first line we have to show ourselves feeling youthful (eg, danicing in the street) to add that element of fear of growing old.

For the second line to be able to transmit the feeling of "You're the only friend I need" there has to be moments where, I for example, stare at Jorge's eyes for a couple of seconds. Therefore in the frame you will see me in front of the camera focusing on my eyes, it is then clear to the audience that I am looking at Jorge even though they can't see him.

For the last line, it is very easy to transmit this feeling. We just have to laugh a lot and especially make it look real, because there are going to be moments were we may have to laugh at something we don't find funny for the sake of the video.
