General ideas + song

After lots of thinking throughout summer and the start of the school year I've decided on the song "Ribs" by Lorde.

I had many other options but I felt like this song is well constructed and has constant lyrics which other songs had lots of blank spaces throughout. "Ribs" running time is 4min 18 sec and most of the songs I was considering were all 4 mins long. I didn't mind working with a 4 min song and all the hard work it would take, obviously, a 2 min song would be more managable in terms of editing. So I made sure I chose the song correctlty. Later on I discovered I could crop bits out of the song, so what I'll do is crop the fist part where there isn't any lirics.

During the two months of summer I payed close attention constantly to my surroundings. As I travelled during the summer I wanted pay attention to any songs I could hear (in the car, in a shop, on the radio...) as different cities had different song genres playing in the background.
