Nails

As I'm trying to add small details that add meaning to my music video, I thought about choosing a specific colour to paint my nails.

As I enjoy painting my nails I think painting them would be a fun way of adding more to the video.

When thinking about colour, red came straight into my head because it connotes love/passion/romance... But I feel like red is a more mature form of romance and pink is more youthful.

Since I am a sweet/"cute" girl in the video I think pink connotes all the things I want to portray as my personality. Also I had to chose a colour that wouldn't get me into trouble at school so pink was the perfect colour.

Keep in mind that I don't normally dress as pinkish and soft, I would rather paint my nails black, but for the purpose of my project I am trying to change small things that make me look more soft.

A few months ago Jorge gifted me a kit to make acrylic nails on myself. Acrylic nails involve adding length, thrickness and strength to your nails. I thought it would be a great idea besides just painting them. When I think about "soft girls" I think about long healthy nails and pretty hands.

I have very chubby hands and natural short nails, so making the acrylic nails would enhance my hands and give me a more mature look rather than my "childish"
